It’s Friday afternoon and I’m bored… I’ve just finished my smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwiches. I wonder who invented salmon and cream cheese sandwiches. I mean we know that the Earl of sandwich invented… well the sandwich, but who thought, mmmm I know what would taste lovely, a nice slice of salmon with cream cheese! Hmmm, well whoever it was I’d like to shake their hand, what a lovely feast! Actually having just finished those now, with a cup of tea, it’s more like afternoon tea than lunch isn’t it? Here’s a useless fact, did you know that afternoon tea was invented because there was this lady (like a proper lady) who used to frequently faint in the afternoons, so they decided she should take time to eat a sandwich and have a cup of tea… and that cured her fainting spells and thus afternoon tea was borne… although afternoon tea at the Ritz for £40 a head came somewhat later I should imagine. I’d like to have afternoon tea at the Ritz… I always say that but I never get there! :o( Hmmm, I’m so full of useless information aren’t I?

Well folks, I just wanted to update you on my latest. As you all know I am doing an interior design course, a homestudy one! I have just completed my first assignment, which I will be sending off before I go on holiday. Anyway, as anticipated, I absolutely love it. I love the drawing, the keeping up to date with design magazines, thinking up ideas and schemes, the lot. I could really imagine myself being an interior designer. Anyway, in my excitable haste, I have set up a website! Now be warned it is totally a work in progress, in fact it is so much a work in progress that it is only a title page at the moment but I envisage that if I pursue this as my new occupation, then the website will grow into my business website. In the meantime, keep yourself updated with it, there will be changes although they will be minimal at this stage.

Well menage, I just thought I would take a wander through the blogstream, just have a mosey on round and see what's new and exciting out there... and guess what? Well I looked at about 7 blogs and they were all answering the same question... I think it's a class of high school pupils or something who are doing blogs as their assignments... at least that's my theory, can anyone else shed any light on it?
