 Pregnancy

Pregnancy Q & A & more!

Q: Should I have a baby after 35?
A: No, 35 children is enough.

Q: I'm two months pregnant now. When will my baby move?
A: With any luck, right after he finishes college.

Q: What is the most reliable method to determine a baby's sex?
A: Childbirth.

Q: My wife is five months pregnant and so moody that sometimes she's borderline irrational.
A: So what's your question?

Q: My childbirth instructor says it's not pain I'll feel during labor, but pressure. Is she right?
A: Yes, in the same way that a tornado might be called an air current.

Q: When is the best time to get an epidural?
A: Right after you find out you're pregnant.

Q: Is there any reason I have to be in the delivery room while my wife is in labor?
A: Not unless the word "alimony" means anything to you.

Q: Is there anything I should avoid while recovering from childbirth?
A: Yes, pregnancy.

Q: Do I have to have a baby shower?
A: Not if you change the baby's diaper very quickly.

Q: Our baby was born last week. When will my wife begin to feel and act normal again?
A: When the kids are in college.

 The End

Unfortunately by Thursday the week had gotten too much for Peter’s son and he took ill with a poorly belly. So mum, mini mc and I went out for a day to Kendal. The rain was pooring, and having taken a wrong turning I truly limited our time their. By the time we arrived and found somewhere to park there really wasn’t much left open other than a pub to have our dinner in, and a shop to buy Peter yet some more crystals! It was a long drive home, and Peter hadn’t eaten… so I was immeadiately out again to the pub while mum stayed with the children.

Our final day, unfortunately the little man was still unwell… but with a long drive ahead of us we all bungled into separate cars! An hour or so later we were pulling up in glorious sunshine to the Lakeside and Haverthwaite steam railway. Of course Peter and I immeadiately got our kits out of the car and began snapping away… and ideal time for my pastel filter I though! It was so picturesque and olde worlde… we even had a trip on the steam train. It was a lovely way to end the holiday and we all got back into the cars happy and ready to face the journey.

It was a long journey back to Coventry… leaving behind us the most picturesque place I have ever visited in my life… I’m sure I’ll be back there again, perhaps next time with my flowery tent!!!!

 Keswick and windermere

The following day we all went out separately, that is, Peter took the children to climb Langdale Pikes. I took mum to Keswick… Via Castlerigg stone circle.

Keswick was lovely and we had picked one of the nicer days I think. It’s just a nice little market town, so we went into lots of nice little shops and Bailey had a whale of a time. I missed sweetp though.

On the way back to the cottage, mum and I took a detour, back towards Aira Force. We found a much larger section of the waterfall… impressive! And Bailey paddled in the cool waters of Lake Ullswater.

The week was gently ebbing away, Wednesday we were all off to Windermere. It had been a minimum requirement of mine this holiday to get on Lake Windermere, and so we all headed off in 2 cars. Stopping for food in the town of Bowness, we found a fab little crystal shop. Peter bought me a lovely Quartz Merlin and I bought a lovely bracelet… The crystal shop went down particularly well I would say. After a meander around the town and with the impending rain drawing in we headed off towards the lake and boarded a return boat trip across the lake. Thank fully, they sold liqueur coffees to warm our cockles up onboard, so with beer vests we head up on deck during the return journey. How amazing was it to look back as we chugged to the middle of the lake and see ominous clouds descend over the peaks of mountains, people whiling away time in speed boats and a totally atmospheric setting.

Back on shore, Bailey was highly amused by the gathering swans… as was Pru (whose leg was thankfully now better) and off we went for a final look around Bowness… raining again, but such a happy filled day.

 Women

I am only as strong as the caffeine I drink, the hair spray I use and
the girlfriends I have.

Here's to you! Why do we only have parties for each other when one of
us gets married, pregnant, has a birthday, or retires?

What would most of us do without our sisters, confidants, and shopping,
lunching and traveling girlfriends? Let's celebrate each other for
each other's sake!

Someone will always be prettier.

Someone will always be smarter.

Their house will be bigger.

They will drive a better car.

Their children will do better in school.

And their husband will fix more things around the house.

So let it go, Be Happy!
And love yourself and your circumstances.
Think about it.

The prettiest woman in the world can have trouble in her heart.
And the most highly favored woman on your job may be unable to have
children.
And the richest woman you know, she's got the car, the house, the
clothes....might be lonely.
And the word says if "I have not Love, I have nothing."

So, again, love you.
Love who you are.
Look in the mirror in the morning and smile and say

"I am too blessed to be stressed and too anointed to be disappointed!"

I like that!
"Winners make things happen.
Losers let things happen"
Be Blessed ladies and pass this on to encourage another woman.
"To the world you might be one person,
But to one person you just might be the world".
