This weekend was nice, the weather is really starting to buck up now into a nice spring/summer feel. Saturday morning we were up bright and early to tidy up as people were coming to view the house (again) on Saturday. After taking the children to their Saturday morning classes, I head off with mum to Birmingham for some shopping. We were planning on making a day of it, so Peter was dog sitting Bailey, who simply loves getting to our house with Prudence anyway!
So, we got to Birmingham late and head straight for the bullring (via subway as we had just been handed some discount vouchers on the way to the train). On the way into the bullring I popped into this great little shoe shop, all of the shoes are heavily encrusted with crystals and look kind of similar to Gina shoes (but at a snip of the price) It’s called
Unze anyway, we got on with the job in hand, that is shopping, and I was most fortunate to stumble upon an absolute bargain, some new designer boots! Ok, so it’s now summer and I won’t need these boots until next winter, but nonetheless, I spent much of this winter past getting very annoyed because I couldn’t find a pair of boots to fit me, I tried Faith, Debenhams, dolcis, everywhere, so imagine my joy when the gorgeous Michael Kors leather boots glided on without a problem!!! Imagine my even greater joy when they had 86% off them in the sale, I won’t divulge how much I spent as that will ruin my it girl cred, but needless to say, they were a bargain! Here they are but mine are black!

After shopping mum and I spent the rest of the evening in a lovely bar, drinking wine and overlooking the canal... pure luxury!
Sunday was spent again looking at houses, nothing jumped out at us again. Lastnight I really should have buckled down and finished my latest interior design coursework, but I felt that I just needed to relax, so instead I followed my nice hot shower by reading my natural health magazine. I’m going right back to the natural health vibe, herbal teas, essential oils and the like… I’ve even bought an all natural toothpaste (however I am a little disappointed that the all natural toothpaste whilst being natural and meeting my requirement that way actually contains palm oil, which doesn’t meet my ecologically friendly aims… more research to be done on that one I think!!!!)
Anyway, back to the grindstone, and it’s only 2 weeks away until the Justin Timberlake concert too!
