 Object of desire

This mobile phone is my latest object of desire, I really can't justify taking out a second phone contract just to get it, but isn't it lovely?

 Cuvee Louise

This weekend I bought myself a book all about my favourite drink, Champagne. Well imagine my joy when reading the book I discovered that there is a blend which is named after me, not content with being a Lady I am also a bottle of champagne now too. Cuvee Louise by Pommery, what greater honor could a girl want? and at around £106 per bottle, it's nice to know I'm not cheap either

 mouse, ignite and cameos

Well I hope you all had a fab weekend, mine was a bit mixed really. I’m not sure I have told you about my pet hamster before, Mouse. Well she’s a year and a half old and she is wonderful, no one would ever believe that an animal so small could have such a huge personality. Well Friday night when I got home from work, she seemed poorly, she was sleepy and could barely walk and then she threw up blood and collapsed in my hand. I was so sure she was dead, it was awful, I called the vet but I couldn’t afford their emergency call out charge and she was lying there so poorly and went back into bed. I thought to leave her and mum just made her some herbal tea and we spent the whole night just hoping she was going to be ok. We popped off to the local pub thinking if we stayed in we would keep going to the cage and she would get no rest, so me Peter and mum went to the karaoke and when we returned thank God she was still alive… sleepy but alive. Saturday morning I got up to go and get my hair cut, I had hoped mum would get up and come with me as we don’t do much of anything girly like we used to anymore, but she didn’t so I toddled along on my own to Aquarius hair salon, with my picture, a total journey away from my then image! I have had a fair bit cut off, about 3-4 inches I would say, it’s even all the way around with a crooked fringe and I love it. I feel like a new person with it because it is so modern and funky. I will still grow it but I feel I have a better base to start from now. When I got home mum was up and we headed off to the local shops to look for outfits for the night out. Mum bought a nice skirt and a new top and I bought a nice pink corset top. In the evening we headed off into town, we were dying to go to lava and ignite which is the new superclub in Coventry. So we hovered around to get flyers and get in free, it’s really nice in there with a light up Saturday night fever style dance floor… there was also a champagne reception but I was driving so no Champagne for me. Sunday was an antique fare at the Ricoh arena, I’ve never been in there before, it’s great, a really nice modern venue, it made me pleased that I have signed up to join the gym! Oooh, and I bought a cameo ring and a cameo brooch for my collection, I’m up to 5 old cameos now, how nice!

 money, money, money

I’ve bought my lottery ticket for Euro Millions this week, again! Last week the jackpot was £100m, but it’s gone up to £125m for tonight! What the hell would I do if I won? First things first, I’d head straight off down to London on the first train, taking my mum and Peter with me and I’d head straight for Sloane street. I’d go and buy this season’s collections at Gucci, Chanel and Prada. Maybe a nice new dress from Matthew Williamson, a couple of Pucci bikinis, some shoes from Louis Vuitton, Gina and Jimmy Choo and a handbag from each shop (or maybe lots of handbags from Camden market). I’d go to Harvey Nichols and would have a make over at the Chanel counter, or maybe Versace who knows, and buy the whole range! I’d get myself some nice bling from Garrard and buy my mum a whole new wardrobe from whichever shops she chose, and Peter a beautiful Armani suit and whatever else took his fancy. We’d stay in a suite in Claridges and have dinner at the Ivy where we would drink Cristal champagne and spot some celebrities. I think I would probably hire a limo to drive us all home after the tiring weekend, or week, who knows, I mean it wouldn’t be like I would be coming back to work after anyway would it? I’d probably clear £1m in that weekend in London wouldn’t I? What with the suite, the car, the goodies, the food and the nights out! Anyway, on my return to Coventry, I’d buy a house on Kenilworth road, nothing too lavish, I’m sure 10 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms and a few acres of garden would do just fine. I’d also buy a city centre apartment and rent it out! Then I would head off to the Jaguar forecourt and buy myself a top marque Jaguar XK, probably in red, my current car is red and I like that so I would probably have the same… if not then black! Mum would also want a car, probably an Aston Martin, and I bet Peter would want one of those too. So all togged out in our new house, posh cars and designer clothes, I would hire out a city centre venue on a Saturday night and lay on a huge party for everyone that I know, even those I’m not really in touch with anymore, there would probably be about 500 people there and I would make a grand entrance out of my limo with Peter and my mum! I’d probably wear my Matthew Williamson dress for that, and Gina shoes! I’d hire a butler too… I’ve always quite fancied having a butler, how cool would that be. Then I’d perhaps buy an island, and an apartment in Paris, one maybe in New York and a beach side home somewhere really nice! At least when I wasn’t in them I could rent them out for holidays and make even more money! I’d also have to buy a business, I promised my friend I would buy a gym and let her run it, so I would do that. Also there is a homeless man in Coventry city centre with nothing, I would buy a house and fill it with food and furniture, and give it to him along with a few thousand pounds to sort himself out! I guess I would just have to invest the rest as there would be so much I would never get to the end of it! I’d probably just do something I love as an occupation, like photography!
